The next 19 Kids and Counting star to get married might not be one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughters or sons (sorry, Jana Duggar!).
According to OK! Magazine , Amy Duggar (a.k.a. Amy Jordan) is the only unmarried 19 Kids and Counting star who is currently in a serious relationship. Amy isn’t one of the main stars of the TLC series, but there was a Season 9 episode titled “Amy’s Nashville Dreams” that was all about the Duggar cousin’s budding country music career. A 2009 episode of 19 Kids and Counting also featured Amy and her then-boyfriend Mike going on a double date with Josh and Anna Duggar, and she performed onstage in Branson, Missouri, during a Season 6 episode.
19 Kids and Counting hasn’t focused that much on Amy’s love life, but the Inquisitr previously reported that she has a serious boyfriend named Dillon King . Amy Duggar and her beau started getting serious around the time rumors surfaced linking Amy and Jana Duggar to Tim Tebow. These rumors proved to be erroneous — neither girl had ever even met the former NFL star — and Amy has been sharing tons of photos of herself and Dillon ever since. King told one of his Instagram followers that he’s known Amy for about five years.
Dillon King goes by a very Duggar-friendly name on Instagram: @kingdillpickle. He runs a runs a water transfer printing company called Wet Ink Design, and he seems to be an avid hunter and gun fan. His fondness of firearms should help him fit in nicely with the rest of the 19 Kids and Counting clan, but Jim Bob Duggar probably doesn’t approve of the way King is wooing his niece — Amy and Dillon don’t follow the strict courtship rules that Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar had to adhere to before getting hitched. They’re not even engaged, and they’re already sharing kissing photos on Instagram.
Speaking of Instagram, OK! reports that Dillon King and Amy Duggar have taken a pretty serious step in their relationship by creating a joint Instagram account dedicated to their relationship, @official_dillandduggs. They also have their own YouTube page , and one of the videos features Dillon laughing at a pouty, sick Amy.
A source revealed that 28-year-old Amy has already been telling everyone that she and 27-year-old Dillon are getting married, so maybe 19 Kids and Counting fans will have another wedding to look forward to.
Because Amy and Dillon don’t follow strict courtship rules, it would be interesting for 19 Kids and Counting to document their romance so that fans can compare it to the relationships of Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald, and Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard. However, it looks like TLC better get those cameras rolling fast if the network wants to capture King’s proposal.
OK! Magazine recently reported that Jill Duggar might get her own spinoff series, and her exit from 19 Kids and Counting could make more room for more segments about Amy’s life.
If Amy Duggar does get engaged, would you like to see her wedding on 19 Kids and Counting ?
