Jacqueline Laurita And More Will Return For ‘The Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Season 7?
Jacqueline Laurita and the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey may not be saying goodbye to Bravo after all.
Earlier this week, as reported by the Inquisitr, a source claimed the show was “essentially done” after Teresa Giudice left home to begin a 15-month prison term in Danbury, Connecticut.
A source told Radar Online the following.
“At this point, The Real Housewives of New Jersey is essentially done. Bravo has considered all of their options and they don’t feel like there is really a show without Teresa. Whether the other women want to admit it or not, she is the star of the franchise. The show simply wouldn’t be the same without her.”
However, according to a second report by Gossip Cop, there is no truth to the story. Their source claims Bravo has made “no decisions yet about the next season.”
As for who would return if the show is brought back, Jacqueline Laurita has already spoke of the possibility. After Season 6 wrapped, as the Inquisitr reported, she took to Twitter, where she told a fan she would address her drama with Dina Manzo next year.
After Season 5, Jacqueline Laurita was demoted from official housewife to friend of the wives, but when it comes to the possibly upcoming Season 7, a source recently claimed Laurita would likely resume her full-time role on the show. A Radar Online source revealed the following.
“Production has made it very clear that they want Jacqueline back… And they don’t want her back just for cameos, either. Production is planning to offer Jacqueline as a contract for a full-time housewife.”
“It was very clear with an examination of the ratings that Jacqueline’s appearance had a huge impact on the show… Bravo is certain that with her back on the show, the ratings would continue to be strong.”
At the time of the report, Laurita was involved in a feud with Manzo, but the pair failed to address their issues on the show. Because the feud was so public, Bravo reportedly hoped it would be a part of Season 7.
“Bravo is now interested in capitalizing on the feud between Dina and Jacqueline… They would love to see them hash this out on the screen, as they are certain this would also bring the ratings and the drama.”
While Jacqueline Laurita’s beef with Manzo would have certainly made for good ratings, the pair have since made amends.
