Hugo Chavez: The US Is Giving Our Leaders Cancer
On Tuesday officials announced a cancer diagnosis for Argentina’s president, a diagnosis that led Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to wonder out loud if the United States is infecting the region’s leaders for personal gain.
Chavez’s theory comes after five current and former Latin American presidents have been diagnosed with cancer over the last several years.
Unlike many of his past statements Chavez did state:
“I don’t want to make any reckless accusations,” but then said the circumstances seem “very, very, very strange.”
That statement was then followed with:
“Would it be strange if (the United States) had developed a technology to induce cancer, and for no one to know it?”
Chavez then pointed to test trials conducted in 1946 and 1948 in which the United States experimented with sexually transmitted diseases in humans throughout the Guatemala region.
Hugo has long been known as an anti-U.S. mouthpiece who has aligned himself with Cuba and other U.S. hating countries. It’s not just the U.S. that has fallen victim to Hugo’s ridiculous rants, the Venezuelan leader constantly attacks political and other enemies of his state both on domestic and foreign fronts.
In the meantime Argentinian President Cristina Fernandez will undergo surgery next week as doctors fight her battle with thyroid cancer.
In his closing remarks Hugo, who essentially accused the United States added:
“I repeat: I am not accusing anyone. I am just using my freedom to reflect and give commentary on very strange occurrences that are hard to explain.”
It’s funny that he didn’t bother to come up with any other possible reason for several people being diagnosed with cancer years apart from one another, perhaps the fact that an increasing number ofpeople are being diagnosed with cancer every single day.
Do you think Hugo Chavez is just another crazy mouthpiece that is mad at America?
