WWE News: Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback All Added To WWE Alumni Section After Firing

The Internet is blowing up after Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler, and Ryback were all officially added to the WWE Alumni section of WWE.com after their firing on Monday Night Raw last night. With the Authority back in power, they came out at the end of the show and fired all three of them for being a part of Team Cena at Survivor Series .

On Tuesday afternoon, The Ring Fan brought attention that all three fired superstars were actually placed in the alumni section of the WWE website. In going along with the storyline, this makes it a lot more real and it made fans irate.

With Team Cena defeating Team Authority at the event back in November, the Authority was taken out of power. The only way they could get back into power would be with John Cena actually placing them there.

Last week on Raw , Edge was guest hosting the show and was being held hostage in the ring by Big Show and Seth Rollins. They threatened to break his neck if Cena didn’t put the Authority back in power, and the face of the company agreed.

At the end of Raw last night, the Authority was back in power and said it was “John Cena Appreciation Night.” The Authority called Cena, Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler, and Ryback to the ring. They then fired Rowan, Ziggler, and Ryback as tons of confetti fell from the ceiling.

WrestleZone reported the Dolph Ziggler actually kept in character on Twitter and posted a “thank you” to the fans after his firing. He also posted a goodbye note to all those that supported him.

As of now, Ziggler is still being advertised with John Cena at WWE Live events in different locations. Now, at other events, both Ryback and Erick Rowan are being advertised, but it may be too early for WWE to officially take them off of them.

On the WWE website, not only have all three superstars been added to the alumni section, but have been taken off all upcoming Raw and SmackDown tapings for the rest of January.

With three weeks until the Royal Rumble , there is still a lot of time and enough shows to write them back in, but that remains to be seen. Some believe the wrestling world has seen the last of Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler, and Ryback, but nothing is forever in WWE.
