No Split? Ariana Grande And Big Sean Push Back Against Breakup Rumors With Cozy Instagram Pics

Fans of the biggest little pairing in music might’ve dodged a close one, as Ariana Grande and Big Sean have fired back against baseless reports that the couple had split up. Grande and Big reaffirmed their status as a couple with a few Instagram postings that showed them canoodling and apparently still quite close.

Over the weekend, some scary reports emerged for fans of the Ariana Grande-Big Sean power couple. Word had it that the two were Splittsville, thanks to Big Sean’s supposed flirting and sexting with a popular Instagram model. Celebrity muckraking site MediaTakeOut carried word of the supposed breakup, saying that Ariana Grande had dumped Big Sean after discovering scandalous pictures, and Star magazine also carried similar word on Friday.

That, though, turns out to have just been slander and calumny, as Sunday brought news via Instagram that the two are very much still together. Apparently, Grande and Big took a trip to Lake Tahoe shortly after Christmas, and they appear to have greatly enjoyed themselves.

“Man I had da best time in Tahoe last week,” Big Sean wrote in a caption.

The two shared multiple pics of both of them out and about and having fun and getting quite cozy in the snowy locale. It was all cheek-to-cheek and smiles and kisses and fuzzy hats, if Instagram tells the whole story.

So what was with Big Sean’s weird post-Christmas tweets? The tweets that some said were indicative of tough times and a split between him and Ariana Grande? Well, it turns out that Big Sean’s grandmother passed recently, which led to the rapper being down in the dumps.

“My grandma passed away a couple days ago,” Big Sean wrote in one social media post. “I haven’t said anything to anyone because honestly I feel like she’s still here.”

So it looks like fears that Big Sean and Ariana Grande were done for were overblown. They’re still together, and there is rejoicing in the land.
