Miley Cyrus Drug Controversy: Studio Photo Showing Apparent Drug Paraphernalia Causes Stir

Miley Cyrus is taking heat this week after a photo of her inside the recording studio surfaced. According to Mail Online, some people noticed that a table with apparent drug paraphernalia on it in the background. The photo actually was not meant to be seen by the public. Apparently, it was taken by someone who partied with Cyrus during the Nov. 26 recording session in Los Angeles. The person who took the photo decided to release it (there’s a chance she got some money from The Sun), causing quite a stir.

“The shocking snap… features the onesie-clad pop star relaxing on a sofa with a laptop on her knees. In front of her is a table covered in what looks like cannabis, a packet of cigarette papers, a rolled up dollar bill and a vial of white powder.”

Miley Cyrus has found herself in this position before. In fact, she has posted some of her own questionable photos, and there has been some suspicious items such as strange roll up items and even a bong or two. According to TVNZ, Miley’s parents and her godmother, Dolly Parton, have been essentially begging her to go to rehab. The 22-year-old has previously denied that she is abusing drugs, but those closest to her see things differently. Although she has encouragement, sources close to the singer say that she is just not interested in getting herself help. She apparently feels as though rehab isn’t for her.

“Miley said a lot of people have been trying to get her into rehab, but it’s not something that she’s interested in,” said a source.

If Cyrus is involved with drugs, there is some fear that she will drag her new beau, Patrick Schwarzenegger, down that same road. This, of course, could be a reason that his mom is not a huge fan of Miley. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there have been several reports that Maria Shriver isn’t in complete support of her son’s new romance — and some people can completely understand why.

Evidently, Miley Cyrus was “banned” from spending Christmas with the Kennedy family, but that hasn’t stopped Patrick from hanging out with his new girl. In fact, he brought Miley to Idaho with his dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and some of his friends after Christmas. Sources say that Arnold liked Miley and approved of his son’s new romance.
