Christie Brinkley Posts Pic After Watching A Shirtless Justin Bieber Play Soccer In The Caribbean
Justin Bieber and Christie Brinkley have never really had any reason to occupy the same sentence. Until now.
Fashion and music worlds collided when the veteran supermodel watched the pop/R&B superstar play soccer on New Year’s Day in Turks and Caicos. Christie later posted a pic to her Instagram account.
Brinkley and Bieber rang in 2015 in the exotic spot with their own groups. But their paths crossed at the soccer game, although it’s unclear whether or not the two actually talked.
“#Playerz,” Christie wrote by an Instagram shot of the shirtless, platinum-blonde singer on a pitch with other players.
Justin also wore long, black and white adidas shorts, white knee length socks, and a red sports cap and bright yellow sneakers.
No missing him then.
In the shot Brinkley deleted, the Canadian wore a black t-shirt.
The 20-year old heartthrob welcomed the New Year with on-the-rise model Hailey Baldwin and friends, including videographer Alfredo Flores and music producer Julian Swirsky.
For her part, Christie has reportedly been in the Caribbean paradise since mid-December, recently celebrating daughter Alexa Ray Joel’s 29th birthday alongside Alexa’s boyfriend, Brinkley’s other children, Sailor and Jack, and a few friends and family.
The stunning 60-year-old model has shared numerous pics of the family’s vacation. One of which read, “We kind of look like a 70’s Rock Band Album Cover #happybirthdayalexaray #afterparty.”
Meanwhile, fan-obtained pics of the Biebs getting his soccer game on have since surfaced online.
And… he’s shirtless again.
The “Confident” singer’s group rolled out a slew of Instagrams during the NYE festivities.
On December 31, Justin shared a snap with the hashtag “#happynewyear.”
The pic shows the singer pulling a “face” and sticking out his tongue in what appears to be a golf cart, while Hailey and Julian also look to camera.
Justin’s caption to one shot of him and Julian read,
“Love this guy @julkeyz one of my best friends and wouldn’t want bring in the new year with anyone else!!”
Amid the fun and fireworks, Justin followed up recent confirmation that he will be releasing an album this year, adding the message of “2015 I’m coming for u” alongside a video which included Hailey and Julian.
Getting in on the online action, Hailey shared a sizzling selfie with the note, “happy NYE.”
The pretty blonde also posted a pic with the singer that will likely add to ongoing romance talk about the pair, who have been spotted with each other on a near constant basis for a month.
She wrote, “Spending New Years w/ this guy.”
Justin also posted a non-captioned, shadowed photo of him and Hailey, which the Inquisitr lightened.
A fan-obtained pic surfaced of the duo which was taken at the New Year’s Eve bash.
A video of the Biebs dancing with a little girl at the bash is also making the rounds online. It is an adorable video.
At the start of the clip, the singer is seen lifting the little girl on the dance floor in an outside setting, decked out as a disco. Justin spins the child round, then dips her to the ground as Journey’s 1981 hit “Don’t Stop Believing” plays.
Hailey can be seen in the background, bopping around on the dance floor, just as Justin’s “dad dance” with the little girl ends.
Previously, Hailey told E! that she and the Biebs have known each other as friends since childhood. Around two weeks later, Justin posted an Instagram message declaring he is “super single.”
Hours after his soccer exertions, and perhaps a chat with Christie Brinkley, the ex-beau of Selena Gomez posted a message putting fans (and the rest), on notice.
“2015. New beginnings. Get ready,” the hitmaker tweeted last night.
Shortly after, “2015IsTheYearOfJustinBieber” shot to the top of worldwide trending topics on Twitter and remained there overnight and earlier today.
