Gia Giudice spent New Year’s Eve with a very special person in her life — her mother, Teresa Giudice.
Gia posted a picture of the two of them together early Thursday morning on her official Twitter account . Gia and Teresa posed together in the picture, sharing a beautiful hug between a mother and her daughter.
Perhaps the most heartwarming part of the picture, however, is what Gia wrote about Teresa Giudice in the caption.
“Happy New Years with my best friend!!”

Gia Giudice is clearly taking advantage of the few days that she has left to spend with her mother, before Teresa Giudice is required to turn herself in and begin her 15-month prison sentence.
The 13-year-old daughter of Joe and Teresa Giudice has definitely been one of the most outspoken of her sisters when it comes to discussing her feelings about her parents’ upcoming prison sentences.
In an interview with Access Hollywood , Gia admitted that the news of her parents going to jail was obviously upsetting . However, she was still able to find a silver lining to that dark cloud.
“Honestly, obviously, any news that is hurtful or, like, horrible to hear is so upsetting. My family is probably one of the strongest families I know, so we’ll get through this. It’s gonna be fine. And when it’s over, we’re gonna be better than ever.”
During the time that her parents spend away from her, Gia plans on keeping herself busy by paying attention to her band, 3KT. Her group made headlines with their recent risqué music video , which was a cover of the popular Britney Spears song “Circus.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Gia has even landed her own reality show based on her band.
In the same interview with Access Hollywood , Gia made it clear that her parents approved of her band and supported her efforts. In her own words, Gia stated that Teresa Giudice “was there every step of the way.”
Joe and Teresa Giudice were sentenced to 41 and 15 months in prison, respectively, after pleading guilty to multiple counts of fraud back in October. The judge allowed them to serve their sentences separately in order to ensure that one parent is able to remain with their daughters while the other serves his or her time.
In recent months, there have been numerous rumors and unconfirmed reports circulating online about Teresa, including how her life will be in and out of prison.
Teresa Giudice is required to start her prison sentence at a prison located in Danbury, Connecticut, no later than Monday, January 5.
