More ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Promo Art Takes Us Inside Tony Stark’s Hulkbuster Armor
Marvel’s doing enough on its own to keep the Avengers: Age of Ultron hype levels high, but a bit of leaked promo art here and there doesn’t hurt either. The latest bit of leaked info from the summer superhero blockbuster gives us our first real look inside the armor that set the internet on fire: Iron Man’s Hulkbuster battle gear.
Yesterday saw a pretty big leak in terms of Age of Ultron, with spoiler-hungry fans now able to find out the unexpected origins of the Avengers’ cybernetic villain. Today’s Ultron leak isn’t quite as big, but it does give us a look inside one of the most highly anticipated aspects of the Age of Ultron trailer that got everyone all excited: that Hulkbuster armor.
We knew that the Hulkbuster outfit, if it was going to live up to its name, was going to have to be huge, but the newly leaked promo art shows us just how big Iron Man’s thinking was in his Hulk contingency plan. The Hulkbuster armor is at least twice the height of Iron Man’s typical armor, and it’s several times the girth of Tony Stark’s usual gear.
The newest leak has given us clearer looks at what Ultron, the Vision, and the Black Widow will look like in Avengers: Age of Ultron. What else can we learn about Age of Ultron from the new promo art? Well, there’s not a ton of new information involved. Mostly, this new leak contains some older images that were in the initial leak, but we do get a fuller view of Vision’s costume as well as a good gander at Black Widow’s costume enhancements for Age of Ultron. There’s also a good look at Ultron himself, showing the mechanized baddie in full detail.
Age of Ultron still won’t hit theaters until the beginning of May, when we’ll get a better understanding of the villainous Ultron and just what leads to his construction. If previous speculation was right, though, Age of Ultron will just be the beginning of a disassembling of sorts for the Avengers. That’s because Tony Stark and Bruce Banner may well have something to do with the creation of the Avengers’ cybernetic enemy, and it’s possible that not everybody will make it out of Age of Ultron alive.
