George Clooney & Amal Alamuddin Divorce: Couple Reportedly Ready To Split Just Months After Marrying

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are reportedly headed for divorce after less than three months of marriage, with sources saying the couple has been fighting non-stop.

Clooney and Alamuddin are reportedly clashing so much that friends believe the relationship won’t be able to survive much longer.

“She and George just aren’t going to make it,” a source told Life & Style (via Celeb Dirty Laundry). “They’ve been fighting behind closed doors — and it’s looking like the world’s most famous bachelor should have stayed a bachelor. There’s no way the marriage is going to last.”

The report of an upcoming divorce for George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin comes as a huge surprise considering that just days before, there were reports that Geroge’s new wife might be pregnant. Sources say Amal was spotted with what appeared to be a baby bump.

That news seemed to make sense, as Clooney had long talked about his desire to have kids one day.

“I think it’s the most responsible thing you can do, to have kids. I think it’s the biggest responsibility you’ll have, and it’s not something to be taken lightly,” Clooney told People magazine back in 2006. “I don’t have that thing in me that says, ‘must do it.’ I don’t see myself ever having kids. But everything in my life has changed over periods of time … and the world does change.”

But the divorce rumors would seem to go along with Clooney’s reputation. Before marrying Amal, he was known as one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, dating women many years younger and seemingly not interested in marriage.

That changed quickly once George began dating Amal, as the two were only together a few months before getting engaged.

In early 2014, George dispelled the notion that he never wanted to get married.

“I haven’t had aspirations [to get married or have kids], ever,” he told Esquire back in January 2014. “I was married in 1989. I wasn’t very good at it. I was quoted as saying I’ll never get married again pretty much right after I got divorced and then I’ve never talked about it since.”

Whatever might be happening between the couple, they appear content it keep it private. George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have not addressed the divorce rumors directly — or the pregnancy rumors, for that matter.
