Target PS4 Bundle Didn’t Have Any PlayStation 4 Deals, Customer Finds A ‘Pray Station’ Instead
A Target PS4 bundle that one woman bought for her boyfriend as a Christmas gift was supposed to include one of the better Target PlayStation 4 deals. Instead, what they ended up with more resembled a “pray station.”
In a related report by the Inquisitr, if you think this type of thing is limited to the Target PS4 bundle, then think again. When one customer bought a Walmart PS4 bundle, they were shocked when they opened it only to find carefully wrapped boxes of rocks. While Sony haters had a chuckle, this type of disappointment happens when another customer buys a PlayStation 4, takes out the console, and then returns it without employees inspecting the inside of the box.
Sandra Ortiz says she remembers thinking that she would love to see her boyfriend’s face after he realized she bought him one of the Target PS4 bundle deals. While everyone is surprised when Christmas wrapping is opened, Ortiz found herself the most surprised of all.
“It came time to open gifts, and we had an unusual surprise,” said Ortiz. “I was really shocked, I didn’t know what to do. He was really excited to get this present. We couldn’t believe it. None of us could believe what was in there.”
Fortunately, the unsuspecting victims of the Target PS4 scam managed to snag something quite a bit more useful than a bag of rocks. Instead of worthless filling, they found a pile of expensive Bibles, and the rest of the family laughed as if it was a joke.
“I felt embarrassed. I felt like, you know, I just ruined Christmas for him and everybody else,” said Ortiz, according to KBAK. “He said he didn’t want the Bibles unless they were signed by Jesus himself.”
Fortunately, this Christmas story about a PS4 Target deal ends well. Sandra Ortiz was able to get her boyfriend a new PlayStation 4 and she says, “I’m taking it as a good message. Maybe I will be blessed this new year!” Ortiz and her boyfriend also say they might have some extra motivation to go to church after receiving their “pray station.”
