Kris Humphries is the Most Hated Player in the NBA

Kobe Bryant and Lebron James have their share of haters, but they don’t draw nearly as much hatred as Kris Humphries. And unlike Bryant or James, Humphries unpopularity was generated almost entirely off of the basketball court. He didn’t trash talk or taunt his fans. All Humprhies had to do to win the dubious title was marry Kim Kardashian.

Stephen Master, VP at Nielsen Sports, said:

“He’s been on five magazine covers, all in a negative light, It’s all so recent, he’s gotten all this publicity for something other than basketball talent.”

According to a poll conducted by Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research, 50% of NBA fans look at Kris Humphries in a negative light. Lebron James came next with 48%, followed by Kobe Bryant with 45%.
