Britney Spears Celebrates Her First Anniversary With Las Vegas

Britney Spears celebrated a special anniversary Saturday. It was the first anniversary of her Piece of Me residency in Las Vegas.

In honor of her anniversary, Britney Spears performed her first show in seven weeks, and celebrated with her crew after the concert. She tweeted a picture with a little note that she was celebrating with her Piece of Me family.

Britney Spears looks perfectly happy in the photo, sporting a black lace shirt and a gentle curled hairstyle, which is good because she signed up to extend her residency with Planet Hollywood for another two years. Now, her run of Las Vegas performances is set to end in 2017.

Spears also shared a video that showed many different scenes from her Las Vegas run spliced together.

In the look back at her past 12 months in Vegas, fans get to see snippets of her show and lifestyle as well as hearing the moment that November 5, 2014 was dubbed Britney Day in Clark County.

Despite some issues back in June, when Britney Spears was accused of lip syncing through her shows, she has earned Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino roughly $20 million dollars in profits.

Some of Britney’s success at Planet Hollywood can be attributed to the turnaround in her personal life. After some severe let-downs and betrayals from people she trusted, Britney Spears finally seems to have found some peace with her job and her family.

Recently, Spears began dating Charlie Ebersol, the 31-year-old son of Saturday Night Live co-creator Dick Ebersol and actress Susan Saint James. Although he certainly can’t be credited with Britney Spears’ success in general, it’s obvious that the relationship has been putting a smile on her face.

They spent their first Christmas together this past week, and Britney Spears posted a photo on Instagram of the two of them and her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. In it, the four of them wear plaid pajamas, adding a sweet touch to the family photo.

Britney Spears is set to release a collaboration track with Iggy Azalea in 2015. It will be the first song on her ninth studio album. Iggy Azalea has described the track as being “undeniably great.”
