Hailey Baldwin Slams Claim She ‘Spent The Night’ With Justin Bieber After NYC Dinner And Movie
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s dinner and movie hangout in New York City on Friday didn’t just lead to two different versions of where the pair supposedly ended up, it also got the 18-year-old daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin seriously steamed.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday afternoon to address media reports assuming she spent the night with Justin, Hailey slammed the rumor.
“Glad I got such a good night sleep last night, at MY own home, alone.” She added, “Quit it with the stories!”
The model’s comment follows conflicting media outlet claims about where she and Justin finished off their evening.
Fresh speculation kicked off over whether their friendship has developed into a romance, after Justin jetted to the U.S. following a short Christmas break with his father and siblings in Canada, and met up with Hailey in NYC on Friday.
E! Online reports “Hailey met Bieber at his home,” before they were chauffeured to NYC’s Mr. Chow restaurant, where it was said they “looked like a couple.” The outlet added they later saw Mark Wahlberg’s movie The Gambler, with the two then going back to “Bieber’s [unspecified] residence.”
E! noted the two blondes were also spotted at a diner having breakfast in New Jersey on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life boldly claimed an eyewitness said the twosome “locked lips on the way out of” Mr. Chow, and later went back to Hailey’s NYC apartment together.
In fact, sources tell the Inquisitr that after dining together, Justin and Hailey watched The Gambler at a New Jersey movie theater. They then visited mutual pals Pastor Carl Lentz and his wife, Laura, of the Hillsong NYC Church, at their family home in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
That same Friday, the model posted an Instagram tagged to Laura, which showed both of them with designer holes in their jeans in a front room setting. Her caption quipped, “naked knees @lauralentz.”
We’re told Bieber slept over at the Lentzes’ family home, just as he did for two weeks from the end of October to November following his split with ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
As mentioned above, Hailey insists she slept at her own apartment, alone, on Friday.
The model previously denied dating talk after she and the singer were seen hanging out after Thanksgiving in NYC, hiking together in California, enjoying a day at an arcade, and go-kart racing. They two also hung out at studios, an Los Angeles Clippers game, and a church service, among other meets.
“We’ve just been good friends over the years and we have just stayed close and there’s nothing more to it than that,” Baldwin told E! earlier this month.
For his part, the Biebs posted a photo of the pair to Instagram on December 15, and said he is “super single.”
Following their dinner and movie date on Friday, Justin and Hailey spent time together on Saturday.
The pair were photographed leaving Bowery Meat Company, a steakhouse in NYC’s East Village. Once again, they coordinated in all-black outfits.
It’s rumored the duo were also seen at a Dave & Busters at some point on Saturday.
Earlier in the day, the hitmaker reportedly played basketball at a gym with pastor Lentz, before they soothed aching muscles with a spa trip at Aire Ancient Baths in Tribeca.
Despite Hailey’s statement that she and Justin did not spend an intimate night together on Friday, it is likely romance rumors will rage on. Rumors do that.
