Watching the new video for Justin Bieber’s signed artist Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd’s “Work For It” Ft. Tyga, is a bit like scrolling through the Biebs’ contacts file.
Apart from being a sturdy R&B outing for the four-time Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter Poo Bear, the music video features tons of Bieber and Boyd’s mutual pals, and was officially released today.
Among the spot-the-famous-faces count are Soulja Boy, the singer and songwriter Castro, Poo Bear’s partner and singer Ashley Joi, popular Viners Matthew Espinosa, Nash Grier, Rudy Mancuso, King Bach, rapper DeStorm Power, techie Milo The Light, and even Shots app co-founder John Shahidi makes an appearance.
Bieber’s cameo pops up at 2:32 minute and shows the 20-year-old being fitted for swanky, new threads before giving the camera a look worthy of a heartthrob.
“Work For It Feat. Tyga,” which is Boyd’s follow-up to “Sexy A** Blunt,” was first heard in October. Young Money rapper Tyga make a typically deadpan appearance but adds grit to the slow jam.
Fans will already know the singer signed Poo Bear as an artist back in January, famously celebrating by posting a selfie of him smoking a Cuban cigar.
Boyd has penned tracks for the likes of Usher, Mariah Carey, Dr. Dre, Jagged Edge, Lupe Fiasco, Chris Brown, Jill Scott, Danity Kane, Lil Wayne, and Carl Thomas. He was also a co/solo writer on multiple tracks on Bieber’s 2013 Journals album.
In other Bieber news, the singer appears to have new wings.
On Christmas Day, the hitmaker posted various Instagram pics of what appears to be the interior of a Gulfstream G6 private jet.
In one shot, the newly-platinum blonde star stands inside the aircraft, which revealed tan, leather seats and a high-tech cabin.
Justin’s caption read, “New jet for Christmas, and she’s beautiful.”
A second snap shows more of the jet’s glossy, paneled walls, gold throws, and pillows.
“Merry Christmas she’s a beauty,” he star wrote alongside the pic of the jet, which TMZ values at around $60 million.
After Bieber spent the Christmas break with his father and two younger siblings, Jazmyn, 7, and Jaxon, 5, in his native Canada, the young entertainer was spotted in New York City on Friday leaving an apartment complex then the Chinese restaurant, Mr Chow, with longtime pal, model Hailey Baldwin.
The pair, who previously denied dating rumors, wore coordinated (deliberately?) all-black ensembles and were spotted in somewhat bashful mood as they left the eatery.
Later Friday, another witnesses filmed and tweeted that she saw Justin and Hailey take in a movie showing of Wahlberg’s The Gambler in New Jersey.
According to an Instagram posted by Hailey, the duo ended their evening out at the family home of mutual friends, Pastor Carl Lentz of the Hillsong NYC church and his wife, Laura, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.
“Naked knees @LauraLentz,” the model captioned the snap.
