‘American Horror Story’: Clues Reveal Season 5 Plot?
Fans must be wondering where Ryan Murphy will lead his American Horror Story series next season. Well, he just confirmed that every season of American Horror Story is definitely connected. And furthermore, he finally said something about Season 5!
There are many clues and theories across the web, but now everyone’s imagination is running wild. According to Entertainment Weekly, American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy said the following about the seasons.
“They’re all connected. They’re all very separate but there’s clues every season… There are purposeful connections, character connections, and similarities and things that connect that we’ll continue to connect moving forward.”
Knowing that everything is connected set fans on quest for clues, and soon rumors and theories started to circle around. Particularly interesting were clues from the unofficial AHS Instagram, which is known for posting spoiler photos from episodes before they air. They recently posted three new images claiming to be American Horror Story Season 5 clues.
The first is a black-and-white photo of a cornfield. Some theories posted in the comments state that the photo could be pointing to a season related to Children of Corn, serial killer named Ed Gein, or Project MKUltra, the latter of which was known as CIA’s secret mind control program. Other fans speculate that the cloudy skies above the cornfields may relate to chemical or nuclear testings.
Also, Ryan Murphy confirmed that Season 5 will start with a top hat, and said that Maggie’s coffee cup is a “big” clue.
“That is a big season five clue! It’s an arcane clue, but it’s very purposeful, and it illuminates something that you’ll be like, ‘Oh! You dirty b******!'”
Reddit user Ace VXIII suspects that top hat may refer to Operation Top Hat. According to Wikipedia, U.S. Army Chemical Corps conducted a “local field exercise,” where people were exposed to biological and chemical warfare in an effort to test decontamination methods, but they did not volunteer and were not informed of the test. Altogether, the hat and the photo may provide hints to where American Horror Story Season 5 will take us.
The second photo is a black-and-white image of an old farmhouse, noted by some users to be looking rather similar to Alma and Kit’s house from Asylum. Could this be the lead to the alien theory?
Again, one comment predicted that Season 5 will be placed in Alabama, connecting it to Operation Top Hat. From this angle, everything points to bio-chemical warfare testing on human subjects, but we will just have to wait and see what Season 5 of American Horror Story will bring us. What’s your theory?
