Lennon Or McCartney? New Documentary Asks 550 Celebrities Their Preference — See Their Answers
John Lennon and Paul McCartney were probably the two most influential songwriters in the 20th Century, and quite possibly two of the best songwriters of all time. If anyone is involved in any way, shape, or form in modern music, there’s a very good chance that their music has been influenced in some way by either the Beatles, John Lennon’s solo work, Paul McCartney’s solo work, or Paul McCartney’s post-Beatles group, Wings.
Now, a new short documentary is putting forth a half-century old question to celebrities around the world: Lennon or McCartney? The question of which Fab Four songwriter is your favorite is asked in Lennon or McCartney: A Beatles Documentary put together by Scared Goose Productions. According to Music Times, Scared Goose compiled snippets of interviews from the last decade when the question of Lennon or McCartney was posed, and sliced them all together to get some sort of consensus.
