WWE: CM Punk Claims Ryback Uses Steroids, Injured Him, Wrestler Shoots Back On Chris Jericho’s Podcast
CM Punk is trying to clear the air on allegations about the WWE health policy and Ryback injuring him multiple times.
In a related report by the Inquisitr, rumors keep flying that AJ Lee is leaving the WWE like CM Punk, and the rumor mill only spun faster when she teased, “You’re gonna miss me when I’m gone.” Seth Rollins also claims CM Punk is missed in the WWE locker room.
In a recent interview, CM Punk criticized Vince McMahon for the WWE health policy, noting that the long term effects of a concussion are not known. The former wrestler even has a scar from the staph infection he developed during his time in the WWE.
But when CM Punk called out Ryback he claimed the other WWE superstar was dangerous because he looked like he took steroids. It’s alleged that Ryback deliberately injured CM Punk multiple times. While Ryback has fought back against those claims on Twitter, he addressed these charges on the recent Chris Jericho podcast.
“I went and heard part of it. Punk was always good to me when he was here and I felt I was good to him. He was never like that to my face and I felt we always had good matches for the most part on the live events. To leave and say the things he said, I try not to take anything personal anymore. So whatever he’s going through, if he feels the need to say that, I can tell you it’s not true. It’s one of those things, it’s like, come on man. I don’t understand if it’s a personal thing with me. I don’t know but I have no ill feeling towards the guy, I wish him the best.”
While CM Punk has not responded to Ryback about these comments, he did speak on Off The Record about the belief that Punk “called out the medical care that they [WWE] offer their people.”
“This is taken out of context. I didn’t mean to call anybody out, I simply told my story. I told the truth, and I told people what happened to me. It wasn’t to call anybody out. I’m a passionate guy who lost the passion to do his job. My intent wasn’t to call anybody out.”
