Nicki Minaj is reportedly trying to stop her ex boyfriend from selling a sex tape, with a now-deleted exchange between the two on Twitter seemingly exposing the drama.
The Twitter spat between Minaj and boyfriend Safaree was caught on Saturday by the gossip site MediaTakeOut . The back and forth, which has since been deleted, seemed to point to a tape that Nicki desperately didn’t want to see the light of day.
“Told u it was the wrong move. I sheltered and protected u for years. Loyal for years. Come on. Selling Vids? Cuz I’m happy now? Disgusting,” she wrote.
She added that her ex seemed to be out for attention.
“Wanted fame. I gave you my blessing. I still love. I still love. I still love. I’ll always love. So disappointed.”
Though MediaTakeOut interpreted the exchange to be referring to a Nicki Minaj sex tape, nowhere does either Nicki or Sarafee refer to the “vids” that he is reportedly selling being of an adult nature. She later deleted the Twitter exchange, leaving no evidence of the fight.
Nicki has been opening up about her relationship with Safaree. In a new music video titled “The Pinkprint Movie,” one that ties together three tracks from her latest album, Nicki appears to tell a story of love that turns sour.
Minaj actually created the concept for “The Pinkprint Movie,” which premiered on Revolt and was later uploaded to the rapper’s YouTube channel .
This is not the first time that Nicki Minaj has been the subject of a sex tape controversy. Last year, she had a spat with rapper Gucci Mane, who released what appeared to be naked photos of the rapper and claims that she slept with him for money. But the photos were later identified as a look-alike , and Nicki ripped Gucci by writing, “May God strike me dead if I ever had sex wit that man. Lmfaoooooooooo.”
But real nude photos of Nicki Minaj were released a year later, as she was a victim of the mass celebrity nude leak .
