Selena Gomez Takes Cara Delevingne Home For Pre-Christmas Break Amid Justin Bieber Struggle
Selena Gomez hung out with Cara Delevingne in her home state, Dallas, Texas, for a pre-Christmas break.
The 22-year-old pop princess’ mom, Mandy Teefey, and step-father, Brian, live in the area with their second, younger daughter, Gracie.
News of Cara’s visit to Selena’s family home comes amid a new E! report which revealed “The Heart Wants What It Wants” singer is struggling to put her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber “behind her.” The starlet’s ongoing efforts to move on are said to be “up and down.”
“It’s hard because they have just so much history,” a source tells the outlet, adding, “It is a process …” The insider noted that getting an “occasional” text from the heartthrob can put a “dampner [sic]” on Gomez’s day.
Sounds like fun-loving Cara was just what the doctor ordered to keep the former Disney star’s spirits up in Texas.
The two girls were first seen together over the summer, when the Latina starlet celebrated turning 22 on a superyacht in St. Tropez, France, back in July. At the time, media pictures focused on seeming romantic affection between the brunette beauty and Tommy Chiabra, the founder of Royal Yacht Supplies.
In the mix of that, came snaps of Selena and Cara showering aboard the yacht after ocean dips. Naturally, tabloids drew silly conclusions because Delevingne is bisexual.
During the jaunt, the group were spotted at the starry Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala.
The pair were also seen partying in style at the LACMA Art & Film Gala in November, and celebrating mutual friend, model Kendall Jenner’s, birthday that same month amid various hangouts.
Fast forward to Monday, December 22.
Twitter blew up after a Dallas local spotted Selena and Cara shopping at the North Park Mall. Fans quickly tagged the picture across the Internet.

The duo were reportedly seen shopping for lingerie in Victoria’s Secret, the underwear brand Cara has modeled for, before heading to a Nordstrom store.
After her brief pop to Dallas, Cara has since returned to her native UK to be with her own family. On Tuesday night, she tweeted, “I’m home!”
Last weekend, Gomez updated her Instagram with photos and videos which showed her spending time with pals and family.
“Sissy and I #forlife,” the starlet wrote by this cute pic with her baby sister.
“So many generations,” read the note by another shot.
Rumor has it the starlet will see in the New Year in 2015 with pals including famed Israeli songwriter and producer, Eli Mizrahi.
But whether the holiday season takes Selena’s mind off Justin Bieber remains to be seen.
