In other Avicii-related news, Us Magazine is reporting that the DJ is now back on the market. According to sources close to Avicii, the DJ split from his girlfriend, Raquel Bettencourt. The relationship didn’t last for too long, as the paired only dated for a year, but they did move in together over that time.
Three months back, Bettencourt shared a collage of photos of the pair all loved up on her Instagram account. At the time, the two were celebrating the Swedish DJ’s 25th birthday.
At the time, she captioned the photo with, “Happy Birthday My Love. Incredibly lucky to have such an amazing person in my life, who I can truly say is my best friend. Love Racqattack.”
So far, Avicii, whose real name is Tim Bergling, hasn’t publicly committed on his split. Right now he’s too busy promoting his tour on Twitter.
