Selena Gomez ‘Heartbroken’ Over Justin Bieber NOT Dating Hailey Baldwin?
Justin Bieber has made it clear he is “super single” and not dating Hailey Baldwin. Yet it’s claimed his former girlfriend, Selena Gomez, is “heartbroken” over his “romance” with the daughter of Hollywood actor Stephen Baldwin.
So claims the notorious gossip outlet Hollywood Life. The website has been criticized on numerous occasions for publishing false stories about celebrities.
On Monday, Bieber addressed rumors that he is dating longtime pal, model Hailey Baldwin via his Instagram account.
Alongside a black and white pic of himself and Hailey, the singer wrote: “People are crazy. I’m super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise.”
Shortly after the “Confident” star’s post, Hailey tweeted, “Hope that clarifies everything for everyone) rumors are silly!”
Speculation about the singer and the model’s tight friendship first sparked when they spent time together in New York and Los Angeles after Thanksgiving. Those rumors accelerated after the pair were seen at various locations over the past few days by paparazzi or fans.
However, that speculation has been denied not only by Justin but also Hailey with E! News over a week ago.
Despite this, Hollywood Life claims a source revealed, “Selena is absolutely heartbroken that Justin is falling so hard for Hailey. She still had hopes that he would reach out to her before the new year to try and reconcile.”
The alleged insider continued,”She’s agonizing over her decision to play hard to get with him because she thinks it backfired.”
“She was diligent about not accepting his calls or responding to his texts, and now it’s like he’s completely moved on with Hailey and has forgotten about her.”
It’s not surprising Hollywood Life appears unwilling to put down the (now) denied Bieber-Baldwin dating rumor. In recent weeks, the site has led the way with imaginative stories citing a seemingly endless supply of sources with access to Bieber and Gomez.
Which is odd, given that Gomez previously slammed the site as “never true” for fabricating reports about her.
In a recent story, the site claimed a so-called insider revealed Bieber, “wants to make the world believe he’s not dating Hailey Baldwin,” because he “doesn’t want all the scrutiny to ruin it.”
Bizarrely, the site published another story just 71 minutes later, alleging Bieber intends to write a love song about Hailey which “will be included on his new album.” It’s never made clear why the singer would make such an extraordinarily public move if he’s trying to “hide” his romance.
On Tuesday, the “super single” singer posted an Instagram pic of himself with Hailey and their mutual pal, model Kendall Jenner, playing with with nerf guns.
Bieber’s caption read, @kendalljenner why the need for two guns fool and @haileybaldwin good work today we were killin everyone. #nerfwars.”
