Justin Bieber Accused Of ‘Denying Romance’ With Hailey Baldwin By Notorious Site
Justin Bieber has been accused by a gossip website of lying about a “romance” with friend Hailey Baldwin, after the singer issued a statement on Monday declaring that he is “super single.”
Hollywood Life — a website previously slammed by Austin Mahone, Selena Gomez and Gossip Cop for fabricating stories about celebrities — claims a source said Bieber “wants to make the world believe he’s not dating Hailey Baldwin,” because he, “doesn’t want all the scrutiny to ruin it.”
The alleged insider adds, “His mentors told him to keep his love life out of the public eye.”
Bizarrely, the site published another story just 71 minutes later alleging Bieber intends to write a love song about Hailey which “will be included on his new album.” It’s never made clear why the singer would make such an extraordinarily public move if he’s trying to “hide” his romance.
The outlet’s claims contradict the message the “Confident” singer shared on his Instagram account on December 15.
Alongside a black and white, shared selfie with Hailey, Justin wrote: “People are crazy. I’m super single and this is my good friend u would know otherwise.”
Almost immediately after his post, the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin tweeted, “Hope that clarifies everything for everyone) rumors are silly!”
Speculation about the nature of the 20-year-old singer and 18-year-old model’s friendship first sparked in earnest when they spent time together in New York and Los Angeles after Thanksgiving. Those rumors picked up steam after the pair were seen at various locations over the past few days by paparazzi or fans.
As Hollywood Life has led the way in recent weeks with increasingly wild, romance stories about the two friends, it’s not surprising that they’re keen to boldly claim the Biebs’ “dating” denial is a lie.
The site claims an alleged source said, “They’re still very much in the honeymoon stage of their relationship and Justin is doing everything he can to please Hailey.”
The purported insider continued, “He likes protecting her. It’s a boyfriend move.”
Additionally, in what appears to be an attempt to back up their new angle, the outlet builds on X17Online.com’s previous report on the duo’s visit to the State Social House bar/eatery in West Hollywood on December 12. X17 embedded a video on their site showing Hailey, Justin and a pal having drinks in a private, upstairs room with a giant TV screen.
Although the video is dark and the trio are mostly in shadow, X17 preposterously claimed a photog on the scene saw Justin “biting his lip” when he spoke to Hailey at one point.
Hollywood Life’s report is even more Fifty Shades of Grey.
“They got cozy at a corner table with big leather chairs and ordered chicken fingers, mac & cheese and french fries,” an alleged eyewitness told the site, adding, “They were very flirty and touchy feely with Justin putting his hand on her leg under the table and Hailey stroking his arm with her fingers.”
“They were definitely conscious of other people though and pulled back when they thought people were looking.”
While the Inquisitr cannot unequivocally say this alleged eyewitness’ claim is false, we can say that based on Hollywood Life’s track history it’s highly likely this “eyewitness” does not exist.
Meanwhile, before the Biebs’ “super single” post on Monday, he and Hailey kicked off their five-day hang out with a late night visit to a Los Angeles recording studio with longtime pal and videographer, Alfredo Flores.
The following day included their aforementioned West Hollywood night out. On Saturday, fans spotted the two blonde pals hiking in Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles, then later at a recording studio.
Justin wore gold and blue basketball shorts and went shirtless on their hike. Hailey wore a mostly black sports crop top and cut-off, gray sweatpants.
After jetting to Washington state, the pair were seen attending a Sunday service at The City Church in Seattle.
Later, they met up with mutual friends, model Kendall Jenner and Chris Brown at a venue in Washington. Brown reportedly performed in the Dope Festival at the Tacoma Dome Arena that night, which the group went to.
In snaps posted to their Instagram accounts, Kendall, 19, and Hailey are seen pouting it up in a red-lit, graffiti-daubed corridor, wearing crop tops, baggy pants and leather jackets.
The Biebs also shared a photo of him jokingly holding Chris’ neck as if “strangling” the 25-year-old. The two are seen in a similar surround to the girls.
Before Justin addressed the dating rumors over Hailey, the model also denied a romance in a brief interview with E! News at the Exodus premiere in New York.
It will be interesting to see how many media outlets believe Hollywood Life’s claim that the pair are “hiding” their romance, as opposed to the more likely fan fiction the site is known for.
