‘Minecraft’ TU19 To Bring Tutorial World Changes, Real World Castle
Minecraft Title Update 19 (TU19) for PlayStation and Xbox console is still on the way, and 4J Studios is still teasing some of the new features. The latest is the open-world sandbox’s tutorial world with one area based on a real life location.
4J Studios shared the Tutorial World tease via Twitter, as it is want to do. It shows a castle on an island with a bridge connecting it to the main land.
No new plushies this week, but we do have a new Tutorial world for the next update ? What castle is this based on? pic.twitter.com/y9X5FSNWax

Followers came up with answers such as the Hogwarts castle from Harry Potter and even Lord of the Rings. The castle is based on a real world structure, however.

Eilean Donan Castle is located in the western Highlands of Scotland, located on a small tidal island where Loch Duich, Loch Long, and Loch Alsh meet. It was originally built in the early 13th century. It was rebuilt between 1919 and 1932, and is considered an iconic landmark, appearing in several films.
So what does this mean for the Tutorial world? At this point, we really have no idea other than adding in a new area for Minecraft console owners to play around in. 4J Studios created the Tutorial World just for the console release of Minecraft. The developer has updated the world with every major title update since.
What we do know is that Minecraft TU19 will be the biggest one to date. It encompasses three different updates brought over from the PC version – The Pretty Scary Update, Redstone Update, and Horse Update. Expect aspects of each of these, particularly the Redstone update, to appear in the newly renovated Tutorial World.
The Pretty Scary Update added Bats, Witches, the Wither boss, and Wither Skeletons as new mobs. It also brought Beacons and items that were included in the TU14 update, such as Carrots on Sticks, Anvils, and more.
The Redstone Update focused primarily on adding new redstone blocks, but also optimized the lighting engine. Some of the new blocks included the comparator, hopper, dropper, daylight sensor, trapped chest, weighted pressure plates, and block of redstone. There were also some PC specific updates like a scoreboard system, which likely won’t make the transfer to the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Lastly, the Horse Update brought horses, naturally, plus donkeys and mules. It also brought leads to tie to any mob, plus hay, carpet, coal blocks, and hardened clay that can be turned into stained clay with dye.
