Jessa Seewald Pregnant? Speculation Growing About ’19 Kids And Counting’ Star

Jessa Seewald has only been married a few weeks, but already speculation is growing that the latest Duggar sister to tie the know could be pregnant.

The 19 Kids and Counting star married Ben Seewald back on November 1 after a short engagement. Though the couple didn’t even hold hands before they were married — and opted out of the kiss at the end of their ceremony, saying it was something they wanted to save for private — sources have indicated that Jessa Seewald could be pregnant very soon.

A source told InTouch Weekly that chances are good Jessa and Ben are going to try to start their own family as soon as possible.

“They look at sex as a ‘present’ from God and they couldn’t wait to ‘open it’ on their wedding day,” the source revealed. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Jessa were pregnant already.”

If Jessa Seewald were pregnant, it would be following in the Duggar family tradition. The 19 Kids and Counting family believes in a movement known as Quiverfull, which urges followers to have as many kids as possible.

Jessa’s mother, Michelle Duggar, is quite the proponent of the philosophy. She has said that it is a wife’s duty to be “available” to her husband whenever he wants.

The former Jessa Duggar and her new husband, Ben, have also carved out time just for themselves. In an interview with ABC News, Ben Seewald said he and Jessa kept costs for their wedding down so they could have more time for the honeymoon, which included a romantic trip to Paris.

“We want to have a nice wedding that everyone will enjoy but at the same time, we’d like to push our budget more toward our honeymoon because that’s our time together. That’s our first few weeks together,” he said.

If Jessa Seewald is already pregnant, she would not be the first 19 Kids and Counting girl to go from nuptials to baby in a flash. Her sister, Jill Dillard, announced just weeks after her wedding that was expecting her first child.
