Chris Soules Talks ‘The Bachelor’ 2015 Season, Says He Is No Juan Pablo Galavis
ABC’s The Bachelor 2015 season premieres soon and fans are finally starting to hear a bit from Chris Soules himself, now that filming has finished. The last season of the fan-favorite installment was rather controversial with Juan Pablo Galavis at the helm, but Soules is opening up about how he thinks his season will be different. Some might say that Chris and Juan Pablo do seem as different as night and day, but what does Soules say?
E! Online shares that Chris Soules says that heading into filming The Bachelor 2015 season, he was very excited, but humbled and grateful. That reiterates what show host Chris Harrison has already said about Soules’ approach to the show and it is surely something fans will embrace.
Soules says that he took pride in the process of filming the show because it’s important to him to find a wife. He adds that he aimed to make the most of every second and he was determined to treat every woman with respect. Soules even says that when it came to Juan Pablo Galavis’ season, that’s something he noticed, that Galavis wasn’t always very respectful toward the women or the process and he made sure to handle things differently.
The man handing out the roses for Season 19 shared that heading into The Bachelorette with Andi Dorfman, he just was himself, notes Reality TV World. Chris says that heading into this new season as the lead, he knew he had to stick with being himself and remain confident that things would work out just the way they were supposed to work out. Of course, Soules is not saying anything specific regarding whether he found love, though Reality Steve’s spoilers would indicate that he does.
This season there are 30 bachelorettes in the mix of things, up from the typical 25. Chris says that was a bit overwhelming, but things went fairly flawlessly and there wasn’t really much drama. It would be pretty unusual to see a season of The Bachelor without girl drama, though it seems if there was some, Soules wasn’t necessarily aware of it.
What else can fans expect from Season 19 of the show? Apparently, talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will be involved in one episode, which Soules said includes some fun shenanigans. Bachelor fans are already used to seeing Kimmel skewer the reality TV show on his late-night show, but it will definitely be different to have him involved in the filming itself.
Juan Pablo caught a lot of heat for not being able to tell Nikki Ferrell, or anyone else, that he loved them. Is this another way that Chris will be different in this upcoming season? It seems it is, as Soules says that he did tell someone he loved them during filming. How many women does he kiss? He says he didn’t keep track, but he admits that he wore his heart on his sleeve.
ABC’s The Bachelor 2015 season starring Chris Soules premieres on Monday, January 5. From the sounds of things, this season will have a lot for fans to embrace and they can’t wait to get started.
