Dr. Phil Releases New Weight Loss Book: Read A Chapter Of ‘The 20/20 Diet: Turn Your Weight Loss Vision Into Reality’
Weight loss is a hugely searched topic, according to Google’s AdWords Keyword Planner, which states that the phrase “weight loss” receives 90,500 searches per month. Additional weight loss related terms like “how to lose weight fast,” – which gets 135,000 queries per month – and “how to lose weight,” which clocks in with 110,000 Google searches per month, prove that people need help with their weight loss journeys.
Knowing that these “lose weight fast” terms receive plenty of attention at the beginning of the New Year, when most folks go online to search for weight loss tips as part of a newfound resolve to finally lose weight for good, Dr. Phil McGraw has a new weight loss book titled The 20/20 Diet: Turn Your Weight Loss Vision Into Reality that’s set to be released on January 6, 2015, according to Amazon.
“Life rewards action. Stop thinking about losing weight and take action.”
The Huffington Post chronicles some of the “Dr. Philisms” readers can expect to find in the book about successful weight loss.
Dr. Phil focuses on helping shake readers out of their routines to encourage them to adopt newer and healthier habits that might not help them lose weight fast, but can bring on more effective and long-lasting weight loss efforts. He advises us to write down everything we eat – something that’s truly helped me drop the pounds by using a free calorie-counting app like My Fitness Pal. Also, I’ve discovered that investing in things that inspire better eating and foster a desire to hit the gym – be they a pre-workout supplement, a new set of cute exercise clothes from Fabletics, or buying my breakfast and salads from Chick-Fil-A in the morning for meal planning – all help to keep at my weight loss efforts day after day.
As reported by the Inquisitr, adding strength training and high-intensity interval training like those routines found in places like CrossFit has helped celebrities like Rick Ross lose 100 pounds.
“You need to begin this program with an open mind and a clean slate, not just about who you are but also about diet and exercise.”
Dr. Phil has shared a chapter from his upcoming book on weight loss on his website to share with readers prior to the book’s launch.
“You’ve got to decide, and really believe, that you can be good at losing weight. As you learn to eat healthy and incorporate exercise into your daily routine, you will observe yourself mastering weight loss because the scale and the measuring tape will reflect that fact.”
