Just Jared reports that Krysten Ritter will play a Marvel superhero who suffers with post-traumatic stress disorder. Her mental condition led her to make the tough decision to retire from that particular line of work.
Even though she stopped wearing the superhero costume, Jessica Jones was still known for being able to help people, which is why she established her own detective agency to help people and other superheroes with their various problems.
Krysten Ritter has quite a few big-screen credits on her resume, such as 27 Dresses and What Happens in Vegas. However, Ritter has primarily been known for her extensive line of work on the small screen over the years.
Ritter has starred in such popular television series as ‘Til Death, Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, and Don’t Trust the B–ch In Apartment 23.
