Kyle Richards Is Done With Her Friendship With ‘RHOBH’ Co-Star Brandi Glanville
Kyle Richards and Brandi Glanville have had an on-again, off-again relationship for years. However, according to a new report, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars are “off” for good.
“I was never close with Brandi, but we were trying to become better friends and get to know each other, but something happened during shooting that I don’t see us ever being friends again,” Richards revealed to HuffPost Live on Tuesday, according to a December 3 report by Us Weekly.
Although Richards was unable to reveal what exactly happened between her and Glanville, she admitted she wasn’t surprised that their short-lived friendship came to an end. “I’ve seen [Brandi] do this with too many people,” she said. “… I knew always that if I got close to her, my day would come as well.”
According to the Inquisitr, a source revealed Richards and Glanville were involved in a blowout fight during filming.
“Kyle and Kim [Richards, Kyle’s sister] got into a huge fight at a party. Brandi saw what was happening and went over to make sure Kim was OK,” a source close to the show told In Touch Weekly. “Kyle then went after Brandi and started yelling and getting in her face. Kyle pushed Brandi and scratched her arm!”
A second report, via the Inquisitr, reported Richards had also feuded with her sister, Kim, and co-star Lisa Rinna.
Kyle Richards and Brandi Glanville immediately butted heads when Glanville joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during Season 2, but as the seasons continued, they began to form a friendship. During Season 4 they seemed to be getting along, and bonded over their concerns about fellow star Lisa Vanderpump.
Now that Richards and Glanville have wrapped Season 5, they’ve wrapped their friendship as well, and for Richards, saying goodbye was “easy.”
“I think Brandi has a great side to her where she can be fun, and I know she loves her boys, I just, personally, as a friend, that’s not what I consider a friend.”
During The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5, Kyle Richards and the rest of the cast, including Glanville, traveled to Amsterdam in one of the show’s most “glamorous trips and events.”
After revealing things between her and the ladies got “crazy,” Richards explained, “We had one of our most explosive moments ever in the series there. A lot of real life issues, and relationships, and mending and breaking.”
