Cosby: Accused Of Not Only Rape, Now Pedophilia
Just when it seemed allegations against fallen comedian Bill Cosby couldn’t possibly get worse, a new woman has come forward, stating that she was just fifteen years old when she was sexually assaulted by Cosby.
A Riverside County, Calif., woman has become the latest alleged victim to say she was sexually assaulted by Cosby. In recent weeks, at least 17 women have stepped forward to say they were sexually abused by the entertainer in a case that has spiraled since a comedian made mention of the allegations in his act. This latest development marks the first time anyone has publicly accused Cosby of an alleged assault that occurred while they were underage.
Judy Huth says that she was fifteen years old when the now 77-year-old Cosby assaulted her. The assault alledgedly took place at the Playboy Mansion in 1974, where the teenager and a sixteen-year-old friend had wandered over to watch a movie set production where Cosby was filming. The teenager was then asked by Cosby to accompany him to a party in the mansion, where the girls were served alcoholic drinks. Huth alleges that Cosby told her that if anyone asked her age, she should say she was 19 years old. Her lawsuit states Cosby forced her to perform a sex act on him with his hand after leading her to a bedroom in the mansion after she was intoxicated.
Cosby resigned from Temple University’s board of trustees on Monday. He had been the school’s public face, appearing in advertisements, fundraising campaigns and delivering commencement speeches.
“”I have always been proud of my association with Temple. I have always wanted to do what would be in the best interests of the university and its students. As a result, I have tendered my resignation from the Temple University Board of Trustees.”
The multiple allegations against Cosby span over several decades and include intimidation and forcible rape. Several of the women describe being threatened by Cosby if they told, and several more said that they were physically and emotionally harmed by Cosby during the attacks, in which he appeared to show no remorse for immediately afterward. He has steadfastly denied any wrongdoing in any of the alleged rape or molestation allegations, including the latest allegation of the assault on the underage girl.
The woman claims she suffered severe emotional distress and that she discovered its impact on her within the past three years, which allows her to file the lawsuit under California law.
