Michael Cerussi Banned From ‘The Real Housewives Of New York City’ By Bethenny Frankel?
Michael Cerussi, the boyfriend of Bethenny Frankel, has reportedly been banned from filming scenes for the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of New York City. Although Cerussi will be seen here and there when the show returns to Bravo, a new report claims Frankel hasn’t been very open about the relationship.
Frankel is being “very secretive about [Michael Cerussi], and their relationship whenever she has been filming,” a source told Radar Online on December 2. “For Bethenny this time, she doesn’t want there to be a strong focus on her personal life.”
“Expect Michael to pop up in scenes, but it won’t be in depth. Bethenny wants to keep the relationship private for several obvious reasons. Her never-ending divorce to Jason Hoppy is the main issue. She doesn’t want him to point to anything she has done with Michael and use it against her in court.”
“Being legally married, with the divorce still pending, Bethenny is going to have to explain this all to their daughter,Bryn, 4, when she gets older,” the source continued. “Bethenny wants to be able to tell Bryn she handled everything with class and dignity.”
As the Inquisitr reported earlier this week, producers are disappointed in Frankel’s on-screen antics, and feel she’s using the show to boost sales for her Skinnygirl products.
“Bethenny is insisting on featuring her Skinnygirl products at every opportunity,” a source told Radar Online. “The requests from Bethenny have crew members concerned the upcoming season will be one big promo for all things Bethenny. It just feels tacky and cheap.”
“As far as bringing the drama to spice things up, Bethenny is proving to be a downer in that department too. She is trying to be the mother hen, and providing support to LuAnn de Lesseps as she begins dating after her breakup with Jacques. There is simmering tension with Kristin Taekman, but Bethenny is very hesitant to get into heated fights with her on camera.”
“Producers brought Bethenny back to spice things up, and she is acting like some sort of advice guru,” the source explained. “It’s obvious to everyone that Bethenny is only using the show to rehab her public image which took a huge hit after her divorce proceedings from estranged husband, Jason Hoppy began.”
While fans will have to wait and see if the reports are true, the Inquisitr recently claimed Frankel weighed in on her return to the show, calling her comeback “fresh” and “new.”
Bethenny Frankel and Michael Cerussi have reportedly been dating since early 2014.
