Vicki Gunvalson Drops Weight And Talks Brooks’ Cancer Journey

Vicki Gunvalson has been through quite a bit over the past year.

A year which included Gunvalson breaking up with Brooks Ayers on national television, put her house on the market, began questioning her friendship with Tamra Barney and then had everything turned upside down. After Brooks had been diagnosed with cancer, she decided to be there for him. And she has even made changes in her life.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson revealed that she would be going on a juicing detox diet, where she would be drinking healthy juices for three weeks. She completed it this week, and it sounds like she loves the results. Vicki reveals that she loved it so much that she is ready to do this entire thing all over again in about a week’s time.

According to a new Bravo report, Vicki Gunvalson has dropped weight and slimmed down. She didn’t reveal the size she started at, but she told her Instagram followers that she is now down to a size 28 after the 21-day cleanse.

“Loved my 21 day detox,” Vicki Gunvalson revealed on Instagram, adding, “Skin is clearer, down to a size 28 and feeling great. Going to start another 21 days next week. #whynot? #cleaneating, #clubdetox.”

Perhaps, Gunvalson is drinking these juices to get healthy. Vicki recently learned that her boyfriend had been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. He would be going through chemotherapy and aggressive treatments, and she wanted to be there for him.

Vicki didn’t want him battling cancer by himself, even though this battle isn’t something new for him. Apparently, he has been battling cancer twice before. But Gunvalson wants to be there for him as he fights through this, even though her daughter Briana Culberson doesn’t necessarily agree with this relationship.

“We are exclusive, we are dating, we are together,” Vicki Gunvalson has said of the relationship, adding, “It’s official. In late October, when Brooks had his chemo treatment planned, I felt, ‘It’s time to get him moved into my home. I didn’t want him recovering by himself.”

Even though this relationship has gotten little support from co-stars, Vicki wants to be there for him. According to the Inquisitr, Gunvalson has revealed that she has moved Brooks into her home and she made it public. It will be interesting to see what kind of support she will get on this new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
