Aviva Drescher may have been on The Real Housewives of New York for two seasons, but she wasn’t really making a connection with the viewers. Many have said that her last ditch effort to create drama was her taking off her prosthetic leg and throwing it on the ground during Sonja Morgan’s party. Many of the housewives said they had enough of her drama, and said that they didn’t want to keep trying to be her friend.
And Bravo viewers didn’t seem to enjoy Aviva Drescher’s leg-throwing incident either. It wasn’t an event that got killer ratings, and since Drescher had isolated herself completely from the cast, she wasn’t asked to come back. But like any other woman desperate to be in the spotlight, Drescher signed up to film Marriage Bootcamp with her husband, Reid Drescher.
According to a new TMZ report, former Real Housewives of New York Aviva Drescher was accused of being hungry for the spotlight, as she was filming another reality show with her husband. Aviva claimed that her marriage had suffered after being in the spotlight for so long while filming The Real Housewives of New York . Apparently, she wanted people to think that Reid was close to leaving her.
Now, Aviva Drescher’s manager has filed a lawsuit against the reality star, as she didn’t pay the manager her share of getting her the gig on Marriage Bootcamp . Apparently, Aviva got paid $100,000 for being on the show. Part of the deal was that the manager was to get $10,000 of that money. But she never got her money from Drescher.
Aviva’s former manager calls the reality star “sleazy” and a “wannabe agent.” She claims that Drescher only paid her a measly $2,500 of the commission, which should have been $10,000. The former manager is now suing Aviva for the remaining balance.
Perhaps Aviva thought she would have more money to play around with, as she might have been expecting to film this current season of The Real Housewives of New York . She signed on with Marriage Bootcamp shortly after her co-stars revealed that they weren’t eager to film with her.
There have been stories in the press about Aviva only marrying Reid for his money. According to the Inquisitr , this is one of the stories that the couple have been dealing with on the new reality show.
