Ellen DeGeneres And Portia De Rossi Celebrate Decade Together By Going Makeup Free In Sweet Selfie

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi recently showed the world that they’re still in love after a decade together, and they also proved that they’re perfectly comfortable posing for pictures without a stitch of makeup on.

Ellen and Portia have been married for six years, but they’ve officially been a couple for ten years. According to the Daily Mail, Portia de Rossi marked the occasion by sharing the sweet selfie below. As you can see, she and Ellen DeGeneres look beautiful with bare faces, and they’re having a blast on the beach.

DeGeneres and de Rossi also recently celebrated Thanksgiving together, and Portia shared a picture of their meal. Of course the animal-loving couple opted against dining on turkey and ham.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi continue to face rumors of an impending divorce. However, the couple has done nothing to prove the tabloids right, and Portia and Ellen currently appear to be happier and more in love than most newlyweds.

During an interview with People magazine, Ellen DeGeneres tried to put the kibosh on the persistent divorce reports by gushing about her love for Portia de Rossi.

“I love her so much it kills me… the truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It’s what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We’re really lucky because we know how rare it is.”

Portia de Rossi also doesn’t shy away from gushing about the love of her life. During a 2005 interview with Advocate, the Arrested Development star recalled how she fell head-over-heels in love with Ellen DeGeneres.

“I ran into Ellen at a photo shoot about a year ago and she took my breath away. That had never happened to me in my life, where I saw somebody and [experienced] all of those things you hear about in songs and read about in poetry. My knees were weak. It was amazing.”

The two met up again later that night at a VH1 awards show, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

DeGeneres and de Rossi celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary this August, and Portia decided to surprise her wife by having a skywriter scribble the word “six” into the sky. Ellen shared a photo of the impressive anniversary artwork on Twitter.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were together for four years before they were able to get married in California, and walking down the aisle made Portia realize just how powerful and important that ceremony and marriage certificate can be.

“We were together for four solid years before we got married, but the minute we said ‘I do,’ the minute we stood up in front of our parents and our friends and committed to each other, our relationship changed,” de Rossi told Los Angeles Confidential. “I don’t think people understand how important that little ceremony is and what it actually does to people.”
