Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Go Their Separate Ways At Thanksgiving

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spent Thanksgiving apart. While Hollywood Life appear irrationally determined to see every Instagram post and move the pair make as messages to each other, they haven’t been a couple since early October. But, while the ex-lovebirds made separate plans for the holiday, both appear to have had fun.

So what did the former Jelena get up to?

Justin opted to return to New York City the day before Selena’s emotional performance of her breakup single “The Heart Wants What It Wants” at the American Music Awards. On the day of AMAs, the Canadian was spotted by multiple witnesses at the Hillsong Church NYC, which is led by the heartthrob’s friend, pastor Carl Lentz.

Fast forward to Thanksgiving Eve, the Biebs shared a selfie on his Shots page. The 20-year-old’s pic showed him dining alone at a Japanese restaurant in New York with a sad expression on his face.

“Hibachi alone isn’t as fun,” Justin wrote.

But based on an Instagram photo Justin posted that day, the “Confident” hitmaker’s mood seemed to improve after he spent time making a snowman and horsing around with one of the pastor’s daughters. The snowy fun took place on the front lawn of Lentz’s family home in Glen Ridge, New Jersey.

“Made a snowman with this little cutie. Make memories with the ones you love!” he wrote next to by a pic, adding “#HappyThanksgiving.”

On Thanksgiving Day, after posting a shirtless selfie, the twice-Grammy nominee shared a Shots pic of himself and pastor Lentz in a vehicle, possibly on their way to church. Hours later, Justin posted another with longtime pal, videographer Alfredo Flores.

“Happy to share thanksgiving with @AlfredoFlores,” the singer wrote alongside the snap, which showed the pair in an SUV.

All became clear after Flores posted photos of himself and Justin celebrating Thanksgiving with Alfredo’s family, who reportedly live in New Jersey.

“Happy Thanksgiving from my crazy ass family to yours! God Bless,” Alfredo wrote.

No doubt Beliebers will be happy to see Justin enjoying the holiday. His seemingly intense relationship and breakup with Selena clearly took a toll on both of them, judging by Justin spending so much time with pastor Lentz and her AMAs performance.

Meanwhile, the pop princess went to Dallas, Texas, to be with her family for Thanksgiving.

Selena posted pictures and a hilarious video of her relatives to her Instagram page, and with friends in another.

“Also thankful for my LA family. so blessed to have so many people I can love on and have by my side. God bless everyone! 1 Corinthians 1:4-5,” she noted in a sassy snap of herself and her girls.

The Latina looked the picture of happiness in a clip showing her relatives dancing to Bell Biv Devoe’s 1990 hit “Poison.” Selena doesn’t say anything in the visual, but her relaxed smile suggests home is where her heart is.

“Yup. #mexitexans #mychildhood,” she wrote in the caption.

Justin and Selena appear to be moving on, if tabloids will let them be. And right now, that seems to be for the best.
