Justin Bieber Castrate & Kill Plot: Hired Henchman May Be Released, While Alleged ‘Mastermind’ Not Charged

Two men involved in a plot to kill and castrate Justin Bieber back in 2012 are once again in the news.

Although court records show convicted killer Dana Martin instructed two hit men to kill two men in Vermont then strangle Bieber at a concert in New York City in 2012, Martin is not facing charges even though one of the men he allegedly hired, Mark Staake, goes to trial over the Vermont plot next week.

Martin, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the two conspiracies, is now serving a life sentence for raping and killing a 15-year-old girl in 2000. However, he is not facing charges over the Bieber plot.

Back in 2012, police recorded a phone call between New Mexico prison inmate Martin and former prison pal Staake. During that call, Martin is heard telling Staake to kill two men in Vermont, then travel to a Bieber concert in New York City to suffocate the singer with a tie.

According to court records, Staake’s nephew, Tanner Ruane, was asked to help Staake carry out the killings.

Martin offered to pay $2,500 for each of Bieber’s testicles and asked Staake and Ruane to use his preferred paisley ties choice with which to strangle Bieber, as per court papers.

Martin’s obsession with Bieber began after the the teen signer did not reply to letters sent by Dana. The convict has a tattoo of the pop star on his leg and police also said he sought fame through the kill and castration plot.

Staake and Ruane were eventually arrested separately on November 19, 2012, after they took a wrong turn on their way to Vermont and ended up at the U.S-Canadian border.

They were subsequently both charged with two counts of conspiracy to murder.

After the plot came to light, Staake sent a letter to a TV station in March 2013 saying he’d hired a hitman to place a bomb at one of Bieber’s upcoming concerts and intended to “kill everyone on stage and quite a few in the audience.”

In August this year, Dana sent an image of Bieber with a shooting target on his forehead to news reporter Laura Thoren at Albuquerque’s ABC Action 7 station. New Mexico state’s Department of Corrections later admitted it should have been monitoring Martin’s outgoing mail more closely.

Despite all this, New York Daily News reports Martin isn’t facing charges over his repeated threats on Bieber’s life.

“I think it’s appropriate to say that factors associated with this case have been looked at, and we’re investigating it,” Las Cruces prosecuting attorney Gerald Byers told Koat 7.

The District Attorney’s Office has offered no comment on whether Martin will face charges in the future.

Meanwhile, Staake could be released from jail soon, Koat 7 reports.

Staake’s attorney, Jonathan Miller, insists his client was never going to kill Bieber.

The lawyer added Staake does not talk about Bieber or mean him any harm. Bieber is not mentioned in court documents in Staake’s upcoming trial for the Vermont plot, according to Koat 7.

Miller told the New Mexico news outlet, “It’s my understanding that the 3rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office is not going to prosecute my client for anything related to Justin Bieber. Again, my client had no intention whatsoever of harming Bieber and was in fact arrested literally at the Canadian border.”

Staake pleaded no contest in the conspiracy to commit murder on the two Vermont men Tuesday. If he is convicted he will face four years behind bars.

However, because he has already served two years he could be out of jail in 12 months if he behaves.
