Waka Flocka Flame’s New Smokin’ Cough Drop Commercial Heated Up AMA’s [Video]

If you didn’t need a cough drop before watching Waka Flocka Flame’s ad for Pine Bros. throat lozenges, the heavy smoke surrounding the rapper will virtually tickle your throat. Maybe it’s subliminal advertising. According to Just Whoo Kid, Waka Flocka Flame made his first national TV debut for Pine Bros. during the American Music Awards.

And what makes this even more ironic is that Waka Flocka Flame seems to be the best act of the night and he wasn’t even part of the show.

The commercial begins by showing the exterior of a simple white frame home, the camera then pans into a living room showing Waka Flocka Flame sitting in a cloud of smoke filling the room while easy-listening piano music wafts through the air.

“What does a Waka Flocka Flame do for my sore throat relief? Dis here.”

Waka Flocka Flame then holds up three bags of Pine Bros. throat lozenges.

Rolling Stone admits this is a rare appearance on the otherwise rather quiet-on-the-recording-front-lately rapper. Other than touring and releasing a couple of hits from his yet to be released Flockaveli 2 album, Waka Flocka Flame has been on the low down, so to speak.

But Waka Flocka Flame is quick to promote Pine Bros. in this new commercial. Just how does he really feel about Pine Bros. throat lozenges?

“Can’t live without my Pine Bros. Straight up!”
