‘RHONJ’ Caroline Manzo Is Returning: Bravo Offers ‘Big Money’ To Mama Manzo, She Accepts
RHONJ star Caroline Manzo will be returning to the show for Season 7! According to Hollywood Life, Bravo offered Mama Manzo some serious cash to return to the show, and she has agreed to give it another go. Many suspect that Teresa Giudice’s forced departure has left the spot open, and since so many fans miss Caroline, it seemed like the logical thing for Bravo to do. This, of course, suggests that Caroline’s sister, Dina Manzo, won’t be coming back since the two don’t exactly get along.
Since Giudice was a major part of the franchise, losing her is definitely a blow to the show, even if some fans are happy to see her gone. Asking Manzo back seems like a smart move, since bringing on “newcomers” can be tricky.
RHONJ has missed Caroline Manzo. According to Radar Online, Bravo has “always liked” Caroline. It was not the network’s choice to let her go after the show’s fifth season, however, Caroline was offered her own spinoff. Manzo’d With Children was fairly popular, but many Caroline fans still missed her on Housewives. She really brought a different dynamic to the show.
“Bravo has always liked Caroline. They realize with Teresa gone they are going to have to do something to keep viewers intrigued, interested, and tuned in,” a source shared. “Bravo wants to ensure the ratings for next season are strong. Caroline always brought Italian-Mom realness to the show, which viewers connected with. She also has a big fan base,” the source added.
So what will become of Manzo’d With Children now that Caroline is rejoining The Real Housewives Of New Jersey? Sources say that Bravo was pleased with the ratings, so they will more than likely be offering Caroline (and her family) another season if they haven’t already. One has to ask… is there such a thing as too much Manzo? And who else is going to fill out next season’s cast?
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, other former Housewives have also come back on the show after Season 6 didn’t do so hot. Jacqueline Laurita and Kathy Wakile were both bought back mid-season, and will more than likely be offered spots on Season 7. As of now, it is unknown which cast members have been offered deals to stay on the show. It is presumed that Melissa Gorga will be back, and her story line will undoubtedly have ties to Teresa Giudice, which is really money in the bank for the network.
