Diem Brown’s Funeral Tribute Video Released
Diem Brown’s funeral tribute video was released online on Thursday. The video, which was proceeded with the message, “This is the story of Diem and the beautiful life she lived,” featured several photos and video clips of Brown and her friends and family.
“The truly heartbreaking, 12-minute video starts out with photos from Brown’s childhood (she was born in Germany in 1982), transitions into her life as a Delta Gamma at Florida State University to the tune of ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun,’ to her moments as a reporter on the red carpet and her MTV fame,” Us Weekly reported on November 21.
The video was played for Diem Brown’s funeral attendees during her New York City funeral on Tuesday, November 18. As the Inquisitr revealed, many of Brown’s co-stars, including Chris “CT” Tamburello, Evan Starkman, Kenny Santucci, Mark Long, Johanna Botta, Ace Amerson, Paula Meronek, KellyAnne Judd, Ruthie Alcaide, Aneesa Ferreira, Laurel Stuckey, Cara Maria Sorbello and Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio, attended the service.
“Also featured in the montage are her most challenging moments, with family by her hospital bedside as she battled cancer,” Us Weekly continued. “The reality star was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2006 and 2012, and ultimately lost her life to the disease on Friday, Nov. 14, after the cancer had spread to her colon and stomach lining.”
Following the emotional service on Tuesday, as the Inquisitr reported, Diem Brown’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Chris “CT” Tamburello, took to Instagram, where he shared a heartfelt message with fans about Brown, whom he deemed “the love of my life.”
“You have always been My Angel. And now you have your wings. We’ve been thru so much over the years. Thru the ups and downs we somehow managed to keep our promise. We never gave up on each other. Our plan to be together forever hasn’t changed… it’s just going to take a little longer now. And I’m going to hold onto this ring for you till we are together again. So don’t worry mama, I’m not afraid. I know you will always be with me to give me your strength. You are The Love of My Life. My reason to be a better man. I Love You Always and Forever.”
Speaking to Us Weekly, Brown’s co-star, Mark Long, discussed her tragic passing.
“I have so many wonderful, positive memories of Diem,” Mark Long remembered. “I loved her spirit, her positivity, and her never-ending ‘fight to live’ attitude. She was the type of person that truly could light up a room, and also made everyone in that room feel important and special. She touched so many people in her short time on earth and I will miss her. My heart is heavy today and I hope everyone remembers her spirit, her smile, and never give up attitude.”
