Japanese Wife From Hell Chisako Kakehi Allegedly Killed Several Husbands, Partners For Money!

A 67-year-old woman from Japan has been arrested after it was found that seven of her partners had died under mysterious circumstances. Chisako Kakehi is being now described in local Japanese media as the latest “black widow” from the country, reports ABC News. In 2012, another widow, Kanae Kajima, was sentenced to death for killing three of her former lovers for money. If her crimes are proven in the Japanese courts of law, Chisako Kakehi will surpass the brutality of Kanae Kajima with at least six murders.

According to a report by the Japan Times, Chisako Kakehi has admitted to have gotten married four times. All four of her husbands, however, did not survive for long — dying within a few years of meeting her. While no one seems to have noticed the deadly pattern of deaths involving Chisako Kakehi’s first three husbands, the death of her latest husband, 75-year-old Iso Kakehi, just a month after their wedding, has set the alarm bells ringing. Iso Kakehi died at the couple’s home in Muko, Kyoto. An autopsy conducted after his death confirmed the presence of lethal quantities of cyanide in his blood.

While cyanide poisoning might have happened accidentally, what the police found perplexing is the fact that another of Ms. Kakehi’s boyfriends, who died in March 2012, also had traces of cyanide in his blood. That man allegedly collapsed and died while he was riding a motorbike. Chisako Kakehi had, back then, denied any involvement in his death and said that she had absolutely no idea what cyanide is. Another person who was going out with Ms, Kakehi took ill suddenly after the couple had dinner at a restaurant and died hours later. In 2009, another of her partners died of an unknown form of cancer. 2008 and 2006 claimed the lives of husbands numbers three and two, respectively, the Independent reports.

The series of deaths involving the men in the life of Chisako Kakehi started in 1994, when her first husband, aged 54, died of unknown causes. Officials from Japan believe that the deaths of Chisako Kakehi’s partners were all because of money. The woman reportedly has received a total of 800 million yen in inheritance and payouts from insurance companies following the deaths of her partners.

Ms. Kakehi claims to be innocent. She has reportedly said to several officers that all the deaths were plain bad luck.

“I didn’t kill anyone. I don’t even know how to kill. As to the cyanide, I don’t know where it came from. I wish someone would tell me.”

Only time would tell if the deaths of the partners of Chisako Kakehi were a series of planned murders.
