Cameron Diaz Engaged? New Photos Spark Fresh Buzz That Benji Madden May Have Proposed
Are Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz engaged? There has been buzz on this floating around for the past month or so, and now it’s stepped up a notch after new photos of the actress hit the Internet. While neither Cameron or Benji are confirming, or denying, the supposed engagement news, many think that the couple may be looking to take their relationship to the next level.
According to News Corp Australia, Cameron Diaz is engaged to Benji Madden and it happened in October. Benji and Cameron started dating in the spring and stepped out officially as a couple in the early summer days. Rumors of an engagement started last month when the 42-year-old actress was spotted with a ring on that ever-important finger.
New photos have now emerged and sources seemingly indicate that Madden, 35, did indeed propose a matter of weeks ago. Though Diaz has been spotted in the past with other rings on her left-hand ring finger, recent shots do lead some to believe that there is some more serious relationship-related bling there now compared to other photos in the past.
Both Diaz and Madden have had other high-profile relationships in their past, but neither have been married before. Benji was engaged to Sophie Monk, but they split in 2008. He’s also dated Paris Hilton, Eliza Doolittle and a number of other beauties. Diaz has said in the past she has never been drawn to marriage. She has dated Matt Dillon, Jared Leto, Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez, among others.
After the initial Cameron Diaz engagement buzz started in October, People reported that the two had been spotted out together with the actress “flaunting” her ring. They are also said to have moved in together over the summer after starting their relationship in April.
It seems that the There’s Something About Mary star’s stance on marriage has softened, and Madden has hinted that marriage was something he wants. Though she’s indicated in the past that she didn’t have an interest in having kids, recent interviews reveal that she may have changed her stance on this as well, as it is said that Benji would like to have kids.
Though neither the actress or the musician have confirmed or denied the supposed news, new photos of Diaz Friday night leaving Gracias Madre in West Hollywood have many wondering yet again. As the Mirror shares, Cameron had a gold band and what appeared to be a sparkly rock on her ring finger, and she wasn’t trying to hide the rings. For now fans will have to wait for confirmation that Cameron Diaz is engaged to Benji Madden, but it’s certainly starting to look like she may well be.
