‘Orange Is The New Black’ Star Taryn Manning Arrested After Threatening To Kill Former Friend Turned Stalker
Reports are circulating that Orange Is the New Black star Taryn Manning has been arrested after threatening to kill her former friend turned alleged stalker. Her alleged arrest comes two months after her stalker, Janine Heller, was arrested for violating a court order of protection.
Heller has a mutual order of protection against Taryn Manning and is saying the protection was violated by Manning when the actress contacted her by texts and e-mail. Manning is being accused of threatening to kill Heller via texts and e-mails.
According to TMZ, Taryn’s message said, “I will kill you, b****”… “Go f**k yourself and die”… “What’s taking so long? Shouldn’t you be dead by now?”
Since Taryn wasn’t in court, it’s believed the judge decided she was in contempt and had police arrest her.
Recently the report was updated by Manning’s attorney, who gave a statement to TMZ.
“The District Attorney declined to prosecute Ms. Manning and the arrest was voided. The allegation was false. It is unfortunate that additional false allegations by an individual convicted of violating orders of protection intended to protect Ms. Manning are facilitated by purported news organizations to perpetuate the harassment of Ms. Manning exponentially.”
That said, the New York Police Department told TMZ that Manning’s arrest wasn’t voided, so the jury is still out on what’s what in this case.
When the Inquisitr initially reported the odd friend turned stalker nature between Jeanine Heller and Taryn Manning, it was Manning who had Heller arrested. At the time, the actress was accusing Heller of making her “paranoid by attempting to make her believe that another friend was selling secrets about her to the press.”
Officials told E! back in October of the nature of Manning’s case against Heller.
“The persistent and relentless violations of Ms. Manning’s privacy by Ms. Heller have caused Ms. Manning and her family tremendous concern for their safety and well-being. Ms. Manning will continue to work with investigators and attorneys in the New York County District Attorney’s Office in furtherance of this matter.”
Taryn has been on Twitter refuting claims that she ever threatened to kill her stalker.

There are no charges against me This is just further harassment. It is troubling that the system can be used to abuse the actual victim

For a phone call and a lot of time on your hands, you too can get a news media outlet to post totally incorrect information! #sarcastictweet

I could go on any media outlet and tell the real story but I’d rather save my time and energy for things that really matter. All will unfold
