New ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Star Lisa Rinna Throws Wine At Kim Richards
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ fifth season premieres on Bravo tomorrow night, and judging by the trailer, there’s sure to be tons of action. In addition to the cast’s normal bickering, fans will also be seeing tons of fights — both physical and with wine.
In the trailer, which was shared by the Inquisitr earlier this month, a blonde woman was seen slapping Lisa Vanderpump in the face, and Lisa Rinna was seen throwing a glass of liquid at Kim Richards. Although both Brandi Glanville and Vanderpump have been vague about who slapped who, Rinna recently spoke up about her behavior.
When asked about the incident by E! News, Rinna explained, “I can’t say it’s anything I would have ever expected or imagined to ever have happen in my life…most of my friends have ever heard me raise my voice or get angry, really…what I learned is I am fiercely protective of my family.”
On October 30, the Inquisitr reported on news of Rinna and Richards’ confrontation, which allegedly took place during an October 22 at a party thrown by returning housewife Adrienne Maloof, who will be appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season five in a recurring role.
“All of a sudden out of nowhere, Lisa Rinna starts yelling and screaming at Kim…Lisa was furious with Kim about some perceived slight, and it quickly got physical,” a source told Radar Online at the time. “Lisa attempted to push Kim, and the women had to be physically separated! Lisa even made threats against Kim. It was totally crazy.”
“There was tons of yelling, screaming, and plenty of tears,” Radar‘s source added. “It was so tacky to see these grown women behaving like this in public!”
While Rinna previously turned down chances to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she’s now glad she did, revealing it allows her more time with her and Harry Hamlin’s two children. She also told E! News her experience with Bravo has been similar to her Melrose Place days.
“This is very close to doing Melrose Place without a script in your hand. Like everything in life, it’s all about timing. It’s funny, when I went on to Melrose Place it was year five. This is year five of Housewives…To be honest with you, after talking about it with my husband, it’s been a really great gig for me. It felt right, to be honest with you…and I like an adventure, I was looking for an adventure.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season five premieres on Tuesday, November 18, at 9 pm on Bravo.
