Ferguson Video Claims To Show Darren Wilson Threatening Mike Arman
Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson was allegedly caught on a video threatening Mike Arman. The 2013 video, which recently surfaced during the Michael Brown shooting controversy, shows Arman and Wilson apparently arguing over the officer being recorded on video by the citizen. A Ferguson Police Department representative told the Guardian that the officer in the Arman video is not Wilson.
Mike Arman posted the video on YouTube last week. The video claims to show Darren Wilson walking to the edge of a path in a garden on Arman’s property.
“If you wanna take a picture of me one more time, I’m gonna lock you a*s up,” the police officer Arman claims is Wilson, said in the Ferguson video.
“Sir, I’m not taking a picture, I’m recoding this incident sir. Do I not have the right to record?” Mike Arman asks during the exchange with the Ferguson police officer, according to the video.
“No, you don’t – come on,” the uniformed man is credited with saying in the video.
Even though a Ferguson police spokesman told the Guardian that the police officer is not Darren Wilson, the news outlet maintains that department records indicate that the officer who fatally show Mike Brown was present at Mike Arman’s home on the alleged date of the video recording.

A Ferguson police incident report cited by the Guardian reportedly says that Darren Wilson filed a report against Mike Arman, who reportedly has a criminal record. Arman was charged with failing to comply with Wilson’s orders, but the charges were later dismissed after the Ferguson property owner’s attorney found out about the video footage of the arrest – if the details in the Guardian report are accurate.
Darren Wilson went to Mike Arman’s home to serve a court summons related to “derelict vehicles” on the property according to Ferguson Police Department incident reports cited by the Guardian. The police document reportedly goes on to say that Darren Wilson told Arman to move the camera away from his face. At that point, according to the cited police report, Mike Arman resisted arrest.
“I was forced to grab his wrists one at a time and secure them into handcuffs,” Wilson reportedly stated in the incident report.
It is entirely legal to record law enforcement officer while on duty, but obstructing the actions of the police can be cause for arrest.
What do you think of the Mike Arman video which claims Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson threatened the citizen before the arrest? Will Wilson be indicted for the Michael Brown shooting?
