Maria Shriver Isn’t A Fan Of Miley Cyrus: Patrick Schwarzenegger’s Relationship ‘Horrifies’ His Mom
Maria Shriver does not approve of her son’s new relationship with Miley Cyrus. According to Radar Online, Maria is “horrified” that her son Patrick Schwarzenegger is dating Miley. Sources say that Maria is “violently” against the relationship, and she’s worried that Miley will be a bad influence on her son.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Miley and Patrick recently confirmed dating rumors by locking lips in public at a USC game. Photos of the two making out were posted online for all to see, thus letting everyone know that they are hooking up. Apparently this outraged Patrick’s mom, who is said to be less than thrilled with her son’s new love interest.

“They have been hiding it. [Their recent PDA] was so orchestrated and so planned to be like ‘OK, here you go,'” said a source. “He’ll be very good for her. [But] instead of him being a good influence on her, she might be a bad influence on him,” the source added.
Maria Shriver isn’t the only one upset by Patrick’s new girlfriend. According to the report, Patrick’s sisters aren’t too happy either. However, it looks like Patrick and Miley don’t really care what people think of their romance, and some say that the two are already falling in love. According to Hollywood Take, the duo took their love all over Los Angeles this weekend.
It started on Thursday night at the football game. The next night, the two “kept it casual.” On Saturday, Miley and Patrick enjoyed dinner at Mr. Nice Guy in West Hollywood.
“She was beaming, she seemed so happy to be by his side, and he obviously feels the same, he couldn’t take his eyes off her,” said an eyewitness. It seems clear that they are in the early stages of their relationship, but sources say that this could be something serious for the two.
Maria Shriver isn’t a stranger when it comes to scandals, but she certainly doesn’t want her son to be involved in one. Given Miley’s track record, Patrick could find himself in the middle of something crazy, but he’s 21, and he has to learn on his own. There is only so much that Patrick’s mom can do at this point — she just has to hope that she taught her son well, and that if something comes up, he will know better than to get himself into trouble.
