Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is on the way!
This time around, Paul Blart is no longer on duty at a shopping mall. Because of his successful security work in the first movie, Paul Blart has stepped his career up a few notches in recent years and got a job in a Las Vegas resort and casino.
As you can see in the trailer, Kevin James was able to continue many of the same things that caused the first movie to be so successful – including his hilarious physical comedy, overshot slides on the floor, and adventurous trips on his Segway .
There is even a point in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 where Paul punches an old lady.
The follow-up sequel to the 2009 movie, Paul Blart , is going to be released in theaters on April 17, 2015, and is actually making history.
First and foremost, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 marks the very first time in the history of the Wynn Las Vegas luxury resort that the property has been used for a commercial film, according to Market Watch .
Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is also making history by being the first movie that used a certificate of eligibility for tax credit from the Nevada Film Office shortly before principal photography began in April of this year.
According to quite a few of the reactions to the trailer that have been posted on Twitter, not everyone is excited about Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 being released.
If you go to see Paul Blart 2, you’re part of the problem.

Paul Blart 2 is just a meta-documentary about how Kevin James’ life hit a point so low that he agreed to make a second Paul Blart movie
