‘RHOA’ Star Kandi Burruss Talks Friendship With Phaedra: ‘It’s Very Hard’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, have been talking about Apollo Nida’s actions since the day he was arrested. On the premiere episode, fans saw how Apollo got ready for his sentencing all on his own without the support of his wife and children. And while Phaedra Parks had her reasons for getting a hotel and keeping her distance, fans saw how the cast was split down the middle on what happened.

Kandi Burruss revealed on the show that she was in full support of Phaedra Parks because she saw herself as her friend. Todd, on the other hand, had spoken to Apollo Nida at the day of his sentencing and he was in clear understanding of why he was upset with his wife. Now, Kandi is revealing that it is hard to stay friends with Parks because she is constantly questioning where Burruss’ loyalties lie.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss admits that it is tough to be friends with Parks because she is questioning whether Kandi is actually more supportive of Apollo. When Nida showed up at Kandi’s house during the premiere episode, Kandi was quick to leave the room.

“It’s very hard. Phaedra is always assuming I’m siding with Apollo, which isn’t true. Todd and Apollo became pretty good friends, so I would say he takes Apollo’s side a lot. Todd and I have serious debates over their issues. Sometimes I get to the point where I’m like, “Listen Todd, we shouldn’t be arguing about their problems.” It’s crazy really…,” Kandi Burruss has revealed about the situation.

Even though Kandi Burruss is allowed to make her own conclusions about the situation, she may be able to relate more than Phaedra. She is married and she is a mother, so Burruss may see the situation a little differently.

“At the end of the day Phaedra is my girl. I’m always going to be honest with her about what I think. Sometimes we have a difference of opinion, but it’s not because I’m taking anyone’s side against her. Never that! It always sucks when two people that you really like are going through something as crazy as this,” Kandi Burruss reveals.

According to the Inquisitr, Apollo Nida spent much of the premiere episode, explaining how he felt betrayed by his wife.
