Mariah Yeater Drops Paternity Suit Against Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber isn’t the father. After creating a media storm last month Mariah Yeater has apparently dropped the paternity lawsuit against the Biebs.
Yeater claimed that she had sex with Justin Bieber after one of his concerts last year. After going into the dirty, and false, details, Yeater filed a paternity suit against Bieber saying that owed her child support for their four month old child Tristyn.
After the lawsuit was filed, Bieber came out and said that the allegations were absolutely false. Bieber also said that he would take a paternity test if his lawyers deemed it necessary (Maury Povich wanted it to be on his show) and that he would sue Yeater for defamation.
Earlier this month, a rep for Bieber said:
“It’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims. We’ll vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin and to hold those involved with bringing this suit accountable for their actions.”
It looks like Yeater got the message.
According to TMZ, Yeater quietly dropped the lawsuit last week. Her lawyers, Lance Rogers and Matt Pare have also quit. The lawyers apparently jumped ship after they found out that Bieber wasn’t the first person she had accused of fathering her child.
