It seems like another video claiming to be a real exorcism pops up on the internet every couple of weeks, but one recent video holds the distinction of being held in a very public place — on the terrace at a Starbucks.
Even though the ancient practice of extracting demons from afflicted mortals may seem strange to some, it is still very much condoned by many religious figures. The Pope himself recently said that it is part of the church’s policies of “love and acceptance.” Another family recently reported fleeing from a demonic presence in their house after an exorcism-gone-wrong.
I’d just finished cleaning and sat down at my kitchen table for a break when a strange feeling came over me. It felt as if my chair was wobbling and the tablecloth slid to the floor, taking a plant with it. Everything went out of focus but, as I fought hard to get myself together, I saw a misty cloud floating in front of the kitchen window. Slowly, it formed into the shapes of three strangers.”
