20 Dallas Cowboys Miss Curfew In London
The Dallas Cowboys may be fooling around, especially after 20 Cowboys players missed curfew on Friday night, right before the Cowboys-Jaguars game in London.
The Dallas Cowboys are a professional American football team that plays in the East division of the National Football Conference of the NFL.
This is not the first time the Cowboys have been in the news recently. According to an earlier report from the Inquisitr, several London football fans dressed up in cow suits as a creative gesture towards the Cowboys.
Ian Papoport, a journalist that covers the NFL tweeted about the incident.
#Cowboys sources: A whopping 20 players missed curfew on Friday night. Coaches are frustrated. Veterans, too. Are they taking it seriously?”
This, however, was met with opposition by some of the players, who claimed that there was no curfew in place. “Jerry Jones told Bill Polian and I that there was no curfew violation by any Cowboys players because there was no curfew,” tweeted Ian Fitzsimmons.
Ian Rapoport responded with, “lol. False.”
Mike Fisher also responded, “Garrett told me on Wed that #cowboys had midnite curfew, as we noted then on @1053thefan. I’ve have more this hour on radio.”
This is different from what head coach Jason Garrett said last week. “We get done with our work at 5:15 pm every day and then curfew is at midnight, so the guys have some time on their own,” Garrett said.
Other than the 20 Cowboys missing curfew, there are other problems on the team. “As for Dez Bryant, #Cowboys are worried about him off-the-field. Per DeSoto City PD, police have been to his house 6 times in 4 years. This explains why #Cowboys best offer to Dez Bryant was 10 years, $114M — with just $20M guaranteed. Deal avged 10M over the 1st 6(!) years.” tweeted Ian Rapoport.
The coaches are frustrated with the 20 Cowboys players who missed the curfew. Other teammates are also probably upset, especially since the days preceding game are important for sleep and rest. The Cowboys players who missed curfew were undoubtedly reprimanded for their actions.
It looks like the Cowboys have internal conflicts already, and the 20 Cowboys who missed curfew turned the team into utter chaos. On the bright side, the Cowboys did win their game against the Jaguars, 31-17.
